ABOUT Common Law Admission Test (CLAT-PG)

Common Law Admission Test or CLAT for Law graduates is a national-level entrance test/exam for the most prestigious National Law Universities (NLUs) across the country. This premier entrance test for NLUs started in 2008 and has been continuing since. CLAT-PG is also organized by a Consortium of National Law Universities and every year, any one of the NLU amongst the consortium conducts the entrance test.

The qualification of CLAT-PG gives the candidate an entry ticket to the 26 most prominent National Law Universities based in different cities and states of India.

These National Law Universities at the PG level provide the 1 year or 2 year LLM course after completion of B.A. LLB., B.B.A. LLB., etc. for the candidates to choose based on their rank in the CLAT-PG.
