ABOUT COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST
Common Law Admission Test Undergraduate (CLAT UG) is an entrance examination conducted for admission to undergraduate law programs at esteemed National Law Universities (NLU’s) in India. CLAT is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities. There are 24 National Law Universities participating in CLAT for providing admission to the students. Every year a participating University in the Consortium is authorised to conduct the exam. Numerous affiliate universities and institutes also use the CLAT exam for granting admissions to the students in their university. The participating National Law Universities provide 5 year’s integrated law course at the UG level in the form of B.A. LLB, B.B.A.LLB, BSc. LLB, BCom. LLB and many more for the candidates to choose based on their rank in the CLAT.

Qualification : The candidates in order to apply for CLAT-UG needs to have completed/passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with the following minimum marks :
- Scheduled Class (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) Candidates: 40% marks or equivalent percentile.
- General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI: 45% marks or equivalent percentile. Age: There is no specified upper age limit for applying for CLAT-UG Exam.
